Simmental Cattle
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Simmental or Simmenthal is a Swiss breed of cattle, named after the valley of the Simme river. It can range from black to red to brown in colour with white markings, and is raised for both milk and meat. Simmental bulls are extremely popular as sires in beef herds in the U.K. Their progeny, like the bulls, are generally docile.
