Similkameen

Similkameen is the name of a river in the Canadian province of British Columbia which has several possible local meanings:
- the Similkameen River
- the Similkameen people, known also as the Similkameens, a branch of the Salishan-speaking Okanagan people also subdivided into the Lower Similkameen and Upper Similkameen.
- the Similkameen District or Similkameen Country, one of BC's regions and important in the province's mining and transportation history, roughly synonymous with the basin of the Similkameen River.
- Similkameen, a defunct provincial electoral district (1903-1996)
- Boundary-Similkameen, a defunct provincial electoral district (1996-1991)
- Okanagan-Similkameen Regional District, a regional district in British Columbia
- Okanagan—Similkameen, a defunct federal electoral district (1976-1987)
- Okanagan—Similkameen—Merritt, a defunct Canadian federal electoral district (1987-1996)
