[edit] April 2006
RE: [1]
Excuse me, but would you kindly explain why you made the above edit? Where do you obtain your information from?
[edit] Inserting false info
I've have noticed a number of your edits. It seems like all of your edits over the past day have been reverted. I'm not sure if you are purposely inserting false information into articles, but there are quite a few instances of irregularities. Make sure your future edits are verifiable and please include appropriate sources to backup your claims. Inserting false information is considered disruption and as such, will not be tolerated on Wikipedia. Please be more careful with your edits in the future. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 20:21, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. Your recent edits to Diamond and Battle of Imphal were blatant vandalism. You know not to do that. I have blocked you for 24 hrs. to get your attention. Any future vandalism will result in a much longer block. Vsmith 01:48, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
OK. I've looked a bit more - and 1. reverted your move of this talk page, 2. re-inserted the warnings above that you had blanked out. As a result of this I will now extend your block for one week and further vandalism will generate a much longer block. Vsmith 02:03, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Michael_Adler
Hi, I've noticed that the article Michael Adler has been contributed to by only two users: yourself and an anonymous user (which I suspect may be the same person). From the tone of the article I gather that you are either Mr. or Mrs. Adler or another close family member or friend. In the case of the former, congratulations on the new job and best of luck with it. In any event, I don't think that most CFO's (or future CFO's for that matter), even at large companies, are notable enough to warrant their own article here on Wikipedia, so I have listed the article at Wikipedia:Articles for Deletion. This will open a discussion about whether to keep or delete the article. If you are or are connected to Mr. Adler, this is nothing personal and in any event I invite you to click over to the discussion and add anything that might convince me and anyone else of the subject's notability. GT 02:06, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- I just noticed that you are blocked from editing which will prevent you from adding to the AfD discussion. However you can still edit your own talk page, so please feel free to make your case here if you wish and I will be happy to repeat your comments over there. GT 02:21, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Michael Adler
I am in no way connected through family of Michael Adler. I was assigned by Expedia, my employer, to gather publicity for the announement of this new CFO. I disagree with you on it being a minor issue and would appreciate it if you did not delete the article, as it is completely factual.
- Factual as it you claim it to be (it is actually a blatant violation of the no original research policy), the discussion here is whether the subject is notable enough to deserve his own Wikipedia article. My opinion is that while the CFO is one of the most important people within a corporation, his influence doesn't typically extend very far outside of it. You do enjoy some support so far on the basis that any big company's CFO deserves an article, but if you have anything further to add which might convince me or others of his notability please add it here (I'm looking for specific reasons, please). Micahel Adler is notable in the sense that he is in BusinessWeek because of this takeover. If it is good enough news for BusinessWeek, it should be good enough for Wikipedia, especially seeing as BusinessWeek is much more selective.
- BusinessWeek is, of course, not in the business of creating an encyclopedia. What is important business news is not necessarily encyclopedic. However I have posted your comment without rebuttal on the deletion discussion page.
- Also please sign your comments on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). GT 05:06, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
