Scouting Wiki Project Silver Buffalo Award is part of the Scouting WikiProject, an effort to build a comprehensive and detailed guide to Scouting and Guiding on the Wikipedia. This includes but is not limited to boy and girl organizations, WAGGGS and WOSM organizations as well as those not so affiliated, country and region-specific topics, and anything else related to Scouting. FYI. The first set of recipients of the award were given out in a particular order. Those I know who recieved it then, and their order has been given. I think it important that we preserve this and try to find out all who got them. --Emb021 15:54, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

This article indicates that the silver buffalo is the highest adult award confered by the BSA. That argument can be made, but it is incomplete. The silver buffalo is the highest award for national service. The highest award for regional is the silver antelope and the highest for local service is the silver beaver. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Woart (talk • contribs).
