[edit] Missing Song[s]

There is a song that's missing which was featured at least twice in the movie. I've been looking for it, checked this list and couldn't find it. It should come immediatly after "Don't Cry", and again shortly before Pyramid Head kills that girl on the church stairs. In other words, it plays just as the town of Silent Hill goes into the darkness. It's hard to describe the "song" but it's sort of like this ominous, low-pitched humming. It doesn't appear to be on this list. ARBlackwood 02:14, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion of Movie Poster

Hi, I deleted that picture of the the promotinal movie poster because a.) it really did not illustrate the article and b.) it covered some text (I am using the latest version of Firefox). --Jeff 07:11, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

I hope this will help those in search of information about the soundtrack to the film. -Fever_Chill

I just noticed that some of these track names don't appear on any soundtrack CD. If these are the 'unofficial' names from the Complete Soundtrack rips, this should be noted somehow.--Gwilym 12:14, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

No, these are actual names of each song from the soundtracks. They are accurate. -Fever_Chill
Wow, you're right! This is crazy; I've had the soundtrack disc for about six years and somehow never noticed that there's a track called 'Nothing Else.' I even had to look over the list three times before I noticed it just now. So yeah. Disregard. :D --Gwilym 11:20, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
No worries! It's hard to keep track of all the names when some them don't even sound like songs from SH. The only change I made was the one called 'Kill God' that someone Wiki'ed to 'Untitled final boss music' from SH3. The song isn't on the soundtrack, but can be ripped from the DVD or downloaded illegally through the internet. I changed it because it's not an official name.-Fever_Chill
Yeah, that's what whoever ripped the music from the third game put down as that track name when I made the list awhile back. But after seeing the movie multiple times, I'm not sure if I'm hearing that song in the background... And why is this page up for deletion? -Michael C.
I don't know why. Someone probably got upset and decided to contact Wiki because it's not 'informative' and 'very un-wiki-like'. However, it's perfectly fine to spoil a movie with detailed information or have extremely small wiki-entries that are less informative than this one. Whoever contacted Wiki to have this page deleted needs to state why they intend on deleting this page. -Fever_Chill
I voted to Keep this article when I saw this article was up for deletion which didn't make too much sense to me and I'm glad to see that there was No Consensus to delete this article. I also, don't understand why someone would nominate this article for deletion because it is IMO, directly related to the movie and I agree that this should be a separate article from the movie article itself and the second reason is that this article would be consistant with Wikipedia's List Of... articles. 'Kill God' is not an official title from Yamaoka-san. It will remain as 'Untitled Final Boss Music' until a title is released. -Fever Chill

'One's Weaker Self' is unknown to fans of the soundtracks. Please come up with sufficent proof of this song's existence. Until then, it'll be deleted. -Fever_Chill

These tracks are unofficial. 'Kill God', as I've said before, is not an official title and niether is this one. The tracks that are featured on that site are songs that were ripped from the DVD and therefore have no titles. These titles are fan-based, thus making 'One's Weaker Self' unofficial. -Fever_Chill
Just because they dont have a title or they don't appear on a release soundtrack doesnt mean they dont exist. it appears in SH3, it appears in the film, thus it's worth putting on the page. ive placed it as untitled track known as ows. the song is prevalent in the film and deserves being on the page. Beanssnaeb
I didn't say it didn't deserve to be on the page. I'm saying you need to use an official title given by Yamaoka-san for said songs. 'One's Weaker Self' is NOT an official title. I say this because I'm trying to prevent poor information from being given to those who are new to the series. Thanks for cleaning that up and making it noted that it's an unofficial title. The songs that are listed on this page are official songs from official soundtracks. Just because a fan uploaded the songs and named them because they weren't titled doesn't mean they're official. The site listed above is a fine example of this. If me deleting false information bothers you, then I suggest you find the appropriate title and use it as such. -Fever_Chill
point is it didnt need to be deleted, just renamed. So, isnt deleting it keeping information from those who wish to know about the track? same as relaying false (though well known and fan accepted) title info? I agree it is best to have both noted it is untitled and also known by fans as ows so be people can be in the know. --Beanssnaeb

[edit] Cleanup

I propose the tracks listed be cleaned up and organized via tables. Preferably by someone who know wikipedia coding and such (I don't).--jeffrey elliot 23:18, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

i try to do a special fan edition soundtrack with these tracks so tell me please when you will stop to change the order , remove or add some new tracks lol:) thanks you!

--Stop deleting one's weaker self. it is a real yamaoka track that appears in SH3 and the film. Prayer is the abridged version of OWS that is on the SH3 soundtrack. ---Beanssnaeb

I've organized the tracks into a table. --KSweeley 00:47, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

good job, it looks much better. --jeffrey elliot 16:25, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

-Why was Jeff Danna's picture and credit erased? He was responsible for the mixing and arranging of the tracks into the film just as much as Mr. Yamaoka did the score. It was ridiculous to have erased it for he DID serve a part of the film's soundtrack.

I believe it had no copyright info attached to it. --Beanssnaeb 20:04, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
