Silver Stars are a professional South Africa football (soccer) club that participates in the country's Premier Soccer League. In 2006, the club and the Royal Bafokeng Nation agreed on a sponsorship deal with the team moving its home games from Polokwane to the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace near Rustenburg, North West Province. The stadium will be used for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Being one of SA's most ambitious and entertaining outfits, the club's goal is to promote the Silver Stars brand and to grow a large fan base in the North West region as the only Premier Soccer League club competing there.
