Silva compass

Silva compass, more commonly called Silva is an outdoors persuits company, most known for their high-grade compass and other navigational equipment including GPS tools, mapping software, and even create altimiters for aircraft. They also offer a marine range. Silva are a Sweden created company that export worldwide and operate headquarters in numerous countries. They have marketing companies in, Sollentuna, Sweden, Mantel La Ville, France, Friedrichsdorf, Germany, and Livingston, Great Britain. Their two main production companies are in Sweden and the USA. The aim of Silva is to "Design, develop, produce and market world-class quality products on a global basis for users within the Land and Marine markets".

Silva created their first compass in 1928, and established their company in 1933.
