[edit] Biography
Formed from the ashes of heavy metal band "Maimed Moose". Silo have plotted a unique course amongst mid 90's post rock bands in that they have combined the precision of math rock (including esoteric time signatures) and electronica with the heaviness of Metallica. Described (perhaps not entirely seriously) by the NME as "the only interesting act to come out of Denmark" the band has released two albums Instar & Alloy and have played alongside Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Sigur Rós, Pole, Trans-Am & Githead amongst others and at the Roskilde Festival, Chicago's Noise Pop Festival & at Labradford's Festival of Drifting in London.
