Silkstone

Silkstone is a village in the foothills of the Pennines between Barnsley and Penistone, South Yorkshire, England.

The village has some excellent sporting facilities, in the shape of the Pavillion. It is host to both a football and cricket team, with both sports being played at junior and senior levels.

The origins of the name are from Old English.
