Silencerz (AcceleRacers)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Silencerz are a racing team in the movie series Hot Wheels AcceleRacers.
[edit] Characteristics
They are a mysterious team who first appear at the end of the second movie hence its name The Speed of Silence.
The third movie Breaking Point features the team in more detail with their secret base and drivers appearing in the opening credits. Later on in the film it is revealed that they have been disguising their cars as others to attack other teams and cause mistrust. Peter Tezla, one of the main characters, tells his teams that the Silencerz have stolen technology from him .
In the fourth movie The Ultimate Race , GIG , Peter Tezla's computer assistant robot, reveals that Tezla is a former Silencer himself that still uses their technology. GIG is a stolen Silencerz X-88 and was reprogramed by Tezla but like all Silencerz X-88s he is hardwired to override any reprograming attempts and told the Silencerz how to enter the realms . Towards the end of the movie, driver Vert Wheeler drives through the portal of The Wheel of Power and ends up in Silencers HQ leaving the team with Vert his car and all of the coveted Accelechargers that had been won so far .
The Silencerz are associated with the color violet, with much of their gear sporting it.
