Talk:Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm surprised by this article, because as far as I know Sigurd's given-name was Snake-in-the-Eye. This is of unknown meaning, but may be associated with his cunningness, a trait that was considered a virtue in the likes of Odyyseus and the Norse god Loki.
This may prove to be of interest. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/viking_way/
