Talk:Signal transduction pathway

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm proposing to merge this page with the signal transduction page. Maybe a list page should be created for signal transduction pathways to complement the signal transduction pathway section after the merge. - 13:50 18 Dec 2005 PST Alberrosidus

Yes, I agree. - 18:37 14 Jan 2006 EST Richard Lanzara

I agree, there is no possibility to discuss signal transduction without mentioning the path(way) that represents it or vice versa. The statement that alters gene expression is wrong, it can alter gene expression, but it can also lead to some expression-independent effects (where the end-point is protein (de-)activation through phosphorylation) Daviddecraene 18:30, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree as well. Signal transduction pathway is very short and would make more sense in the context of signal transduction. -ENIAC (Talk) (Current Projects) 12:17, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
