Released to public domain The actual Image can be viewed here: from East Carolina State University Archeological Department of a 16th Century Signet ring that links the Roanoke lost colony to the Croatan indian tribe. Discovered in the ancient Croatan captial, it carbon dates back to the 1580's. "Link to the ECU Site with Image"
