SideIron is a nickname I got for reasons I may go into in more detail another day, but it's basically Ironside shuffled around a little.
I suppose I'd better start thinking of things to add to this page now.
Interests include making computers and the internet more accessible to the less experienced user - people I come into contact with have the same fear of computers and the cost of fixing and preventing problems that I have of plumbers and plumbing.
I've worked in IT for 15 years now, and find it hard to believe how much computers still get blamed for everything. I'd like to see computers become a bigger part of people's lives - years ago I imagined that one day every household would have a central server for music and other media, yet it's still not as straightforward as it could be.
