Sidronio Camacho
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sidronio Camacho was one of the greatest soldiers of Emiliano Zapata in the Mexican Revolution.
Eufemio Zapata, while intoxicated, had beaten Camacho's father. Camacho avenged his father by shooting Eufemio in the abdomen at Cuatla, Mexico. Then out of cruelty threw his still living victim on an anthill. This event earned him the nickname, "el loco Sidronio" ("the crazy Sidronio")
Knowing Emiliano would want to avenge his brother, Sidronio sought out sanctuary with Zapata's enemies, the Carranistas.
