Sidney Wood

Sidney Wood (born November 1, 1911) was an American male tennis player.
Wood was born in Black Rock, Connecticut. In his career he has won one major tournament, Wimbledon Championships, in 1931 and reached one Davis Cup final in 1934. He is the father of Godfrey, Colin, and David Wood and lives in Southampton, NY and Palm Beach, Florida.
