Siddapur is a panchayat town in Uttara Kannada district in the Indian state of Karnataka.
It's very cool place which is near to sirsi, which is commercial capital of karwar district. The main occupation in siddapur is Agriculture. Supari (Arecanut) is the primary business of the people. People own Arecanut farms in acres & are satisfying the needs of the people all over India and abroad. Other than arecanut, other commodities like paddy ,coffee ,pineapple ,cardmom, pepper and vanilla are also grown. Majority of People speak Havyaka, Kannada and Konkani. Siddapur is about 400 km from Bangalore. The nearest airport is located in Hubli, about 130 km away. There are many water falls near siddapur like JogFalls,BurudeFalls,Unchalli Falls.
