Sick (magazine)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sick was a humor magazine, an imitator of the popular MAD Magazine. It was created by Joe Simon (creator of Captain America) and debuted in 1960, lasting until 1980. Simon was Editor until the late 60s. Charlton Comics published the magazine from 1976-1980.

Sick's mascot was a doppelganger of Alfred E. Neuman called Huckleberry Fink. Instead of "What, me worry?", Fink's peppy motto was "Why Try Harder?" Its contributors included MAD regulars Angelo Torres and Jack Davis.
