Description

The hyperboloid tower (electricity pylon) on the Oka River was designed by the great Russian engineer and scientist Vladimir Shukhov (1853-1939) in 1929. It is located in Russia, in the suburb of Nizhniy Novgorod, on the left bank of the Oka River near Dzerzhinsk.
