[edit] Biodiversity and food
I was doing something called Newpage Patrol. If you go to Special:Newpages, you see all the new pages created on Wikipedia.
It was my mistake to mark it for speedy deletion; I should have waited to watch it develop. I also wondered if it wasn't redundant with biodiversity. But you seem to know what you're doing. Grandmasterka 04:09, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mass spectrum and Mass spectrometry
I see you have removed the merge tags from these two articles. Do you not think that doing so should be explained somewhere? I see no explanation on your edit summary or on either talk page. I can see arguments for both merging and not merging. I also see that there has been no discussion of this merge perhaps because there has been so much about the merge of Mass-to-charge_ratio. I would therefore welcome your reasons and suggest you put them on Talk:Mass spectrometry. --Bduke 02:51, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sai Ying Pun Community Complex
You deleted the prod tag from the Sai Ying Pun Community Complex article. If you disagree with the tag you can state the reasons for your disagreement or edit the article. You cannot simply remove the tag. --JChap 06:32, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
I am keeping on editing the page of Sai Ying Pun Community Complex. I am sorry to mistakenly remove the tag. But I am not happy that some people say that I just remove the tag but do nothing when I am editing any page.
For your information, before the construction of Sai Ying Pun Community Complex, the colonial building stood was later become a famous landmark because of its historic value and the ghost stories in the houses. Shrimp wong 06:52, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- I didn't say you didn't edit it and I now agree it is worthy of inclusion. My only objection is to editors who remove tags unilaterally. You have said this was a mistake, and I believe you. Thanks, --JChap 06:58, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Would you mind reading my edits and see is it ok to remove the tags? Shrimp wong 07:37, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- This is an nice article. Support removal of tags. --JChap 12:42, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Camellia granthamiana
Hi Shrimp wong - I have had to remove Image:Grantham's Camellia.jpg from Camellia granthamiana. Unfortunately, the license does not allow its use on that page (annoying, but we have to respect the copyright laws). The use of fair use images is very restricted, from the image page, the license states (my emphasis):
- "It is believed that the use of postage stamps to illustrate the stamp in question (as opposed to things appearing in the stamp's design) qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Other use of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Fair use for more information."
Thanks - MPF 08:59, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Troides helena
Hi ! I saw your edits to Troides helena. The technical description unfortunately cannot easily be improved upon except to remove some of the Victorian English (this is from Bingham 1905-1907). I will add links to the glossary of lepidopteran terms which will tell the reader what the technical terms mean. The cleanup tag is a little too distracting. There are hundreds of articles with the same kind of language used in the descriptions (Start here at List of butterflies of India) :( BTW, there is an image of Centella asiatica here Image:Centella asiatica1.jpg. Cheers ! Shyamal 05:00, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
