Shri Ram College of Commerce

Shri Ram College of Commerce is an undergraduate and postgraduate college of the University of Delhi located in New Delhi, India.

Sri Ram College of Commerce is the premiere institution not only India but in Asia offering quality commerce and economics education since it's inception. Students are encouraged to take part in extra curricular activities through active dramatics, debating and other soceities apart from showcasing exceptional academic sheen.

The quality of education offered makes it a faviourite among employers which come in vast numbers during the placement season and recruit graduates in large nos. which increase every year. Many students have gone onto study in prominent post graduate institutions both in India and abroad.

The annual college fest "Crossroads" is one of the best among all others in Delhi University and offers a platform for students from all over to interact and mingle .

Shri Ram started awarding undergraduate degrees in 1932 and graduate degrees in 1948. It received its present name and form in 1951. Although Shri Ram has accepted female students since 1933, it became truly co-educational only in 1957. The institute started an International Business MBA equivalent course in 1999, called the Global Business Operations (GBO). Various courses offered by Shri Ram College of commerce include:

  • B.COM (Honours);
  • B.A (Honours)in Economics;
  • M.COM;
  • M.A in Economics; and
  • Global Business Operations.

Famous personalities to have studied at the college include: Arun Jaitley, Anshu Jain,Gulshan Grover, Sanjeev Sanyal and Vijay Goel.
