The Showboat Hotel & Casino is a New Orleans themed casino in Atlantic City. The casino is owned by Harrah's Entertainment. It is the first casino (lined up) on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. The property contains House of Blues Atlantic City and has suites under House of Blue name. In May 2003, the Showboat made a new 544- room, $9 million dollar tower add a second tower to the property. The hotel consists of eight restaurant including the Canal Street Bread & Sandwich Company, Mansion Cafe, French Quarter Buffet,and more.
