[edit] Plot

During an unscheduled activation of the Stargate, the iris automatically opens every time they close it. A young boy with a bald head steps through. Carter examines him and he's neither a Goa'uld nor Jaffa. Rather, he says he has come to warn them.

After some more examinations to make sure he doesn't have a small gate-destroying bomb or poisoned teeth like other alien children that came through, the boy tells them that his "Mother" wants him to talk with O'Neill alone. Once everyone leaves, the boy tells O'Neill about what his mother had learned when she followed them through the Stargate. He takes on the name of Charlie, O'Neill's son. Charlie comes from Reetalia, where invisible aliens, the Re'tu, live. The Goa'uld hate the Re'tu and have been trying to wipe them out. He is genetically engineered human sent as an emissary to them but his rapid growth was failing, he had to come to Earth immediately. Mother kept the Iris open for him. Rebels on Reetalia, want to defeat the Goa'uld by destroying all humans thus depriving the Goa'uld of potential hosts.

SG-1 call the Tok'ra with the Tollan device. Jacob and another Tokra bring in devices called Transphase Eradication Rods which can detect a Re'tu and destroy it. Charlie gives SG-1 the co-ordiantes for the rebel base.

Upon arriving, they discover the entire faction of rebels.

Returning, they learned that five rebel Re'tu had followed them. Sealing the base to make sure the Re'tu don't use their bombs to destroy cities, they made a sweep of the base. In the infimary, Charlie's mother shot a rebel but was shot by another. Aftering cleaning the base, Charlie's major organs began to shut down. The Tok'ra offered to take him in as one of their own.
