Shout at the Devil (film)

Shout at the Devil is a 1976 film based on the novel by Wilbur Smith. It is an adventure story set in Zanzibar in 1913 and is very loosely inspired by real events. The film starred Lee Marvin and Roger Moore, and was directed by Peter Hunt.

It tells the story of an American, his young daughter, and an English poacher who falls in love with her. The two men set out to get rich in German-controlled World War I Africa, but must set their plans aside when they discover a German battleship awaiting repair and decide to attempt to destroy it.
