Shottskirk

Shottskirk is a local church located midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland.

The church is still operational and is a listed building. It can be seem from the nearby M8 Motorway and is often illuminated at night. The graveyard contains stones from 1624 during the covenanters times. The nearby Fortissat area contains the remains of the fortissat stone, a covenanters gathering place. Shotts itself contains several covenanters monuments as does nearby Harthill and Allanton.
