The Shorts Belfast is one of the largest turboprop aircraft ever built. Ten were built, all for the Royal Air Force, but were all sold off to private industry after a decade of service. HeavyLift Cargo Airlines operates the sole remaining aircraft in active service. This aircraft is often clearly visible parked on the General Aviation side of Cairns International Airport in Queensland, in company with one or two 727s. There is also one in the traditional Heavy Lift paint sceme at Southend airport (EGMC) in Essex in The United Kingdom.
