Shon Gables was an anchorwoman who joined CBS2 in June 2003 coming from WDIV-TV in Detroit, Michigan, joining Michael Pomeranz, Mario Bosquez, and Dave Price in hopes of gaining the audience of WNYW's Good Day New York. She anchored the Morning news and was also a general assignment reporter. She, along with the rest of the team, left WCBS in April 2006 because they did not want to accept lesser positions at the station due to a major shakeup after the firing of news director Dianne Doctor.

She had a small role in the 2006 movie Inside Man, playing herself as a CBS News reporter.

Gables is the ex-wife of former Color Me Badd frontman Bryan Abrams. In 1995, Gables sued Abrams for $16,000 in unpaid back child support.[1]
