Shoalwater, Western Australia

Shoalwater is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Rockingham. Its postcode is 6169. Located within Shoalwater is the 'Shoalwater Marine Park' which includes Point Peron and the offshore islands known as Penguin Island, Seal Island, Shag Rock. The name 'Shoalwater' was used by the original settlers on the basis of the shallow waters in the area.
