[edit] Colors on "on hiatus" groups.

Hi,

Regarding Infobox Musical Artist, the colors on any groups that are on hiatus or broken up should remain "group_or_band". The "temporary" color is for groups that were either one-off groups (like The No WTO Combo or H!P's summer shuffle groups), never for broken-up groups. Note that other disbanded groups (ex. The Beatles, Black Flag, The Minutemen) also are still retaining the "group_or_band" color.

Hope this helps. I've already reverted MiniMoni and Tanpopo back to what they should be. --CJ Marsicano 04:25, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] X Japan Musical Artist Infobox

Hello, I'd like to point out something similar, regarding your edits to the X Japan infobox: In case of an inactive a band, the manual for the infobox suggests to use only the "former members" field, leaving "current members" empty. Also, I'm pretty sure line breaks already in XHTML syntax (<br />) should not be reverted to regular HTML (<br>), though that's just a minor thing. By the way, is it official policy to not use line breaks for multiple genres and record labels? It appears to be very common to use them, even in very elaborate articles (i.e. The Beatles). Have a nice day. - Cyrus XIII 00:30, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

  • RE: The manual is very specific that labels and genres should be a comma-separated list. That Beatles page bugs me to no end, but I have a feeling if I were to do anything about it, it would simply be reverted. Thanks for correcting me on the current members thing, though.
