[edit] Making new pages about the Shire

Which reference am I supposed to use?

For right now I am using the "List of Localities".

This list doesn't have some of the suburbs, like Arthurs Seat.

If you make a page about a suburb not listed on either List of Localities or the shire council, add a link to your page under the relevant council heading...

[edit] Towns

Are all of the places listed here suburbs, or are some of them towns? I don't think Red Hill is considered a suburb. Somebody in the WWW 05:45, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC) The Mornington Peninsula Council site, to which there is a link, names all the localities. Agreed, many are localities and not towns per se but they have postcodes. Dennis 17:40 15 Feb 2005 (AEST)

Anything recognised by the Gazetteer of Australia as a bounded (i.e. official gazetted) locality (LOCB). Orderinchaos78 03:22, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
