[edit] Blood for the first time?

The trivia says:

  • Shinobi Legions was the first game in the series to show graphic animations of blood.

Who made that up? Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master already had blood.

Okay, I just removed that part. Anorexia (Germany) 23:08, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I think the keyword was "graphic" here. The characters and blood are meant to look realistic in Shinobi Legions, whereas in Shinobi III the violence is more cartoonlike. Either way, I can't remember there really being large quantities of blood in Shinobi III. Maybe a brown splat when hitting an enemy. --Steerpike 16:11, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, I just finished the game on my Mega Drive and when you slice an enemy, there isn't just a red (or brown) splat, like in Shinobi II but a little blood fountain coming from the killed body. It's not as much blood as in Shinobi Legions but it still is blood and thus makes Shinobi Legions only the second game in the series to show blood when killing an enemy.
