1) Was Taira actually Japanese, or was he Ryukyuan? 2) To describe him as a sensei is extremely vague. Sensei can refer to a lot of things; it would be helpful to change the intro section to describe him as a karate teacher or a martial arts master or the like. Whatever's appropriate.
