Talk:Shi'a view of Umar
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wonderfool no shiat will be able to make taqiya any more to deceive muslims.
This is not only a badly written article, but one that simplifies Shi'ite views towards Umar. The diversity of Shi'ite beliefs renders this article silly because historically the view of Umar among Shi'ites has varied greatly. I fear that this article largely displays the views of a small group of Shi'ites and is therefore inaccurate, and ultimately useless. DigiBullet 06:27, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
- Well, you could solve that by makig the appropiate change, of course after you have sourced it. If you feel that some part of the article needs to be sourced, just tell me and i will. Please feel free to copy edit it. And by the way, i have never seen a educated shia having a opinion of Umar contradictory to any part of the article. --Striver 02:40, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
- Ok Zora, you insisted that the pov sign should be up. Could you, or anyone, tell me what its doing upp there? --Striver 07:13, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
- This is obviously another shot aimed at getting rid of the information. First you tried to censure it, resulting in long talk pages in the main article, then you deleted it and i was forced to move it to the "shia view", then you tried to vfd it and now you put up a pov sign since... what? you *fear* it might not represent the large shia view? That is totaly nonsense and only makes me angry to see you shameless tries to remove valid information. First of all, the twelvers are the absolute majority of the shia, we are not divided in four school of thoughts. Give me A SINGLE SHIA that does not agrees with what i have written! Now im just waiting for a Shia suckpuppet to make entry and claim that im to harsh on poor umar and that Shia dont think he is such a bad guy... *sight* --Striver 10:33, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
- I mean... O MAN! I GET SO ANGRY! I havent even put the heavy stuff, THIS IS JUST MAIN STREAM SUNNI SOURCES!!! Its just Bukhari, Muslim and Sunni sites, not even shia sources! --Striver 10:33, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
- Execept for Nahj and the dua, but thats main stream shia, not some pov suspect sectarian stuff... Take down that shameless pov sign! --Striver 10:35, 4 August 2005 (UTC)

- No arguments? No sources? Just drop a POV sign and run? That tactid is dispicable! Since nothing has been done in the lates five days, im removing the sign. --Striver 05:32, 7 August 2005 (UTC)

THIS ARTICLE IS CORRECT AND VERY CORRECT ACCORDING TO THE SHIA'S BELIEF. THIS SHOULD NOT BE DELETED. THIS GIVES THE CLEAR KNOWLEDGE OF INNER SHIA'S BELIFE

[edit] Clean up this page
This page has numerous spelling and grammatical errors. It also needs to be organized a bit better. This would certainly add credibility to whatever argument is being made. Currently, the poor quality of the article makes the casual observer (like myself) dismiss it out of hand. Mrmcgibby 16:04, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
- I certanly welcome that! --Striver 00:10, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
Not surprised that this article contains many spelling and grammatical errors. These must be the most ignorant people on the planet. While the Muslims respect Ali bin Abi Talib the "cousin" of the prophet and value his works, the Shia look upon him as better than Prophet Mohammed and perhaps even Almighty Allah (astagfir Allah)! They quote Ali more than they quote the Quran or the Prophet (PBH). If Ali (KAW) were alive today he would be the first to condemn these Muslim impostors.

[edit] Sunni sources?
Peace, Please fix the "Sunni source" references and include sources that are actually recognized by Sunnis to be legitimate, such as mainstream Sunni sites (such as www.islamonline.net) or established Sunni hadith databases. I have never heard of web sites you say are "sunni sources" such as witness-pioneer.org, and this makes me believe that they are not actually "sunni sources" but are false. So, please use authentic Sunni sources. O masud 09:38, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Salam bro. Thank you for raising your concerns. Regarding witness-pioneer.org, if you look at the link, you will easy see that it uses Sunni enumeration of the Caliohs, and if you read their biography, you will se that it claims things that are outright rejected by Shi'as. Is there any specific issue that is bothering you? peace! --Striver 09:46, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
