Shizugawa, Miyagi

Shizugawa (志津川町; -chou) is a town located in Motoyoshi District, Miyagi, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 13,688 and a density of 110.16 persons per km². The total area is 124.25 km².
Activities include going to the beach, fishing, hiking, and bicycling.' The town contains a junior high and a high school. Most residents are employed in the fishing industry or government.
