[edit] 40 Eridani-A Starfleet Construction Yards
Plaques not legible on screen, but shown in the Star Trek Encyclopedia, claim there are Starfleet Construction Yards at 40 Eridani A, the same star system in which Vulcan is located. According to the plaques, the this shipyard houses the Yoyodyne shipbuilding division, one of many in-jokes by the scenic artists to Buckaroo Banzaii.[1]

- USS Brattain (NCC-21166)[1], which becomes trapped in a Tyken's Rift[2]
- USS Phoenix (NCC-65420)[1], involved in an experiment to reignite a star[3]

[edit] Earth Station McKinley
This shipyard, which appears in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Family", is located in orbit over Earth. Following the Battle of Wolf 359, the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) docks at Earth Station McKinley for six weeks of damage repair and system refits.[7] A dilithium chamber hatch installed during this refit later fails.[8]

Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards are in synchronous orbit over Utopia Planitia on Mars. Utopia Planita Fleet Yards were first established as the shipyard that built the Enterprise-D on its dedication plaque, and later is explicitly mentioned in TNG episodes. A Utopia Planitia drafting room appears in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Booby Trap", and exteriors appear in the TNG episode "Parallels" and the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Relativity".
According to the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Emissary", Benjamin Sisko served at Utopia Planitia from 2367 to 2369. DS9's "The Search" adds that while at Utopia Planitia, Sisko oversaw development of the Defiant starship class.
