Shine, The title track off of Cyndi Lauper's Shine album was the first and only single off the album.

It was performed for the first time at Vienna, City Hall (Aids Benefit) on June 16, 2001.

This song has been remixed by several people: Victor Calderone, Tracy Young, ... It caused the song to be a hit in the clubs.

Lauper performed the song on the hit TV show, Queer As Folk. Since then it has been used as the music video clip for the song. (See capture of the video below)

A long time before the release of this song in the Shine EP, Lauper reached the number 1 on December 15, 2001 with this song in an unofficial chart: Top-20 Dance Chart.

A single was released for the song, a promo CD and a remix EP. Both were released in the US only. This "Limited Edition" was only released in the United States and could only be ordered online. It is now gaining in value.
