Shimofusa, Chiba

Shimofusa (下総町; -machi) is a town located in Katori District, Chiba, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 7,891 and a density of 246.59 persons per km². The total area is 32.00 km².

On March 27, 2006, the Shimofusa and the town of Taiei both merged into the city of Narita.
