Shikhany

Shikhany (Russian: Шиханы) is a closed town in Saratov Oblast, Russia, located some 130 km north of Saratov. Population: 6,500 (2005 est.); 6,738 (2002 Census).
Shikhany was founded in 1928 and granted town status in 1996. It has been closed since 1997.
