Shigaraki train disaster

In the Shigaraki train disaster (信楽高原鐵道衝突事故, Shigaraki Kogen Tetsudō Shōtotsu Jiko) on April 14, 1991, 42 people were killed and 656 others were injured.
The accident occurred in Shigaraki, Shiga, Japan.
It was a head-on collision between two trains in western Japan.
