Shibden

Shibden is a village in the county of West Yorkshire, England, east of Halifax. The name of the Shibden valley comes from scepe dene meaning " sheep valley". The area was heavily involved in wool production.
Scout Hall, built in 1681, and Shibden Hall built in the 15th century, are the main attractions, as well as the West Yorkshire Folk Museum.
