Shettihalli is a village in the west of Jalahalli which is under Chickabanavara panchayat limits.The main route leading to Shettihalli is from the Subroto Mukherjee Road which is connected to Jalahalli Cross on Tumkur road on one end (West) and Gangammacircle on the other end (East). One can also reach Shettihalli from Bakulkunte (Hesargatta Main Road), or from Abbigere (Lakshmipura road) or from Prashanth Nagar (Mallsandara road) or Chickabanavara road (Hesargatta road).

Shettihalli is around 2 kilometers from this main route. On one side of the road is the Airforce civilian quarters and the other side we can see the AirForce Technical College (backside) having the lush green trees. Residents have formed different layouts in this village. The main layout encompases Lake View Defence Colony, Krishna Nagar, Brindavan Layout, Cauvery Layout, Nandanam Nagar, Royal_Avenue, AYR Layout, Janata Colony.

There are two temples, one is the LakshmiNarasimha swamy temple around 100 meters from Shettihalli, Bus stop and the other is Munanjaneya swamy temple near the railway cross. The third a Ganesha temple is under construction located on the way to AYR layout.

There are two lakes, namely Mallasandra Lake and Shettihalli Lake. Mallasandra Lake is on the boundry with the Mallasandra village. Shettihalli village is on the boundary with Abbigere.
