The Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa is located just a bit south of downtown Kailua-Kona on the west coast of the Big Island of Hawai'i. The resort is situated on an ancient lava flow from the Mauna Loa volcano. From the black lava coastline you can enjoy a front row seat to each evening's beautiful sunset, and maybe even a famous Kona green flash.
The resort has two restaurants for cuisine and cocktails. Kai is the main dining room and provides wonderfully prepared fare for breakfast and elegant entrees for dinner. From the window seating you can enjoy a view of Keauhou Bay. The pool-side Manta-Ray Bar and Grill is open-air and situated between the main pool deck and interior pool deck. You can grab a quick snack, lunch, or early dinner here.
From late afternoon to late evening you can stop by Crystal Blue for hors d'oeuvres, exotic cocktails, and premium wines. The comfortable living-room-style seating provides an intimate atmosphere to enjoy the local live entertainment or step out onto the shoreline deck for a view of the manta-rays swimming just offshore.
Wake up to the aromas and savor the flavors of pastries and freshly brewed gourmet coffees at Caffe Hāhālua. Located pool-side you can enjoy the scenery morning and afternoon.
Held every Monday and Thursday evening is the Origins Luau. The evening will start with a cocktail reception and food service. Then listen for a conch shell sounding off, this signals the beginning of the entertainment. Honoring the many cultures of Hawai'i, Origins will take you on an adventure with traditional Hawaiian music and dance.
