Shepard Settlement is a hamlet in the north-eastern part of the Town of Skaneateles in Onondaga County, New York. It got its name from early settlers in the area. THis area has a very hot desert with alot of sand and beautiful green pastures with cows grazing in the middle of the sandy desert
