Shelha language

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shelha is a native language spoken by the Berbers in Tunisia, particularly in the southern region. Many words in the Tunisian language have been adopted from Shelha. It is not to be confused with Tashelhiyt, the language of the ašlḥi (pl. išlḥan) in the Sous in Southern Morocco, which has been called Shilha in the past.
