Sheldon Glueck

Sheldon Glueck (born August 15, 1896 - March 10, 1980) was a Polish American criminologist.
Asked how to say his name, he told The Literary Digest "Put a g before look: glook." (Charles Earle Funk, What's the Name, Please?, Funk & Wagnalls, 1936.)
