Sheldon Gellada
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
José Angelo Gellada, better known by his nickname Sheldon, is the bassist of the band Hale. He currently resides in Parañaque.
Gellada was born on May 20, 1984 (age 22). He studied in Manresa School for his elementary education, and went on to High School in the now-defunct Pilipino Children's Montessori Village Inc. in Parañaque. He enrolled in the Conservatory of Music program of the University of Santo Tomás as a Contrabass major for a year.
Aside from Hale, he plays for 5 Leaves Left (with Hale drummer Omnie). He also has a reggae band called Washday.
Gellada's style of playing bass can be rooted from progressive and other rock players. However, when he himself is asked, you will probably get humorous and interesting answers such as Chucky Dreyfuss, Dranreb Villeza, and Dale Villar of the That's Entertainment fame.
