Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned

Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned (Arabic: الشيخة موزة بنت ناصر المسند) is the second wife of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar. She is the daughter of Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Missned.
She graduated from the University of Qatar in 1986 with a BA in Sociology and holds several posts in Qatar and internationally:
- Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development
- President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs
- Vice-President of the Supreme Education Council
- UNESCO's Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education
She has seven children, five sons and two daughters:
- Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the current heir apparent.
- Jassim Bin Hamad Al-Thani
- Joaan Bin Hamad Al-Thani
- Khalifa Bin Hamad Al-Thani
- Mohammed Bin Hamad Al-Thani
- Sheikha Al-Mayassa Bint Hamad Al-Thani
- Sheikha Hind Bint Hamad Al-Thani
Sheikha Moza was recently honored with an honorary doctorate from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States.
