Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust

Sheffield Children's Trust is one of the United Kingdom's NHS Hospital Trusts. It provides healthcare for Children in Sheffield and the surrounding area of South Yorkshire and beyond, with on third of patients coming from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, North Derbyshire North Nottingham and in some cases the rest of the country.[1] The trust itself runs the Sheffield Children's Hospital, and many other sites in the city. It has a turnover of £70 million a year, and overa year sees 75,000 Outpatients, 20,000 Inpatients/day cases, 43,426 Accident & Emergency attendances, 12,670 Mental Health assessments and attendances and 28,874 Therapy assessments and attendances.[1] It also employs around 1,700 people. The Trust also provides clinical education for medical students from the University of Sheffield.
