Sheen's Brain

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sheen's Brain is the name of an episode of the Nickelodeon animated TV series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. This episode first aired March 8, 2004 in the U.S.

When Sheen discovers he may get left back in school for a (second) year, he turns to Jimmy for help. By reversing Jimmy's "Brain Drain" device (last seen in the episode Normal Boy), Jimmy can grant Sheen enhanced intellect. But, as they so often do, things go horribly wrong.

At first, everything's great; Sheen easily passes all his classes, but as is intelligence begins to surpass even Jimmy's, so too does his ego (and head size). His brain continues to develop, and begins to talk down to his friends. Ultimately his supercharged brain grants him telepathy and vast psychokinetic powers, and Sheen begins terrorizing Retroville, calling himself "Sheen, the God!" (which would sound much more ominous if it weren't delivered in his usual whiny, nasal voice). Sheen even kidnaps Libby as his consort.

Unable to reason with him, Jimmy and Carl decide to use the one thing in the world Sheen still respects... Ultralord! Hiding inside an Ultralord robot, they try to convince him that, since he now has super-powers, he must also have super-responsibility, and give up his super-brain. At first Sheen seems to listen, but in the end his ego wins out, and he strikes down Ultralord with a mental blast. However, when he sees Jimmy and Carl lying in the wreckage, he realizes what a monster he's become and submits to being Brain Drained once again.
