Sheba Medical Center

The Chaim Sheba Medical Center, often referred to as the Tel HaShomer Hospital, is a hospital in Israel, world renowned for its medical services, research, and patient care. It was founded in 1948, one month after Israel was created.

The Sheba Medical Center also has a military wing serving the Israel Defense Forces.

Sheba Medical Center is located in the east side of the city of Ramat Gan (Tel HaShomer) in the Tel Aviv District.

Former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon was hospitalized in Sheba since May 28 and November 6, 2006
